What AIEO sees, stores, and does.

Screen Ask runs only after the browser extension is connected and you intentionally submit one visible-screen question.

What Screen Ask sends

  • One visible-tab screenshot only when you submit a Screen Ask question.
  • The question you typed and basic page metadata such as title, URL, and vendor.
  • The answer can be saved manually as a saved answer; the screenshot image is not stored by the Screen Ask route.

What AIEO Paths stores

  • Role, goal, budget, skill level, and tools you choose to provide for a recommendation session.
  • Saved path, like, dislike, and reset-profile events so recommendations can improve.
  • A local extension profile in chrome.storage.local, plus backend profile storage for signed-in Pro and Teams users.

What AIEO does not capture

  • Automatic prompt/output sessions in the background.
  • Browsing history, hidden page content, or other open tabs.
  • Screenshots before you press submit in the companion.

How data is stored

  • Encrypted in transit.
  • Stored per user only when the feature needs an account record, such as saved Screen Ask answers or Paths history.
  • Embeddings may be generated for semantic search when the embeddings deployment is configured.

Your controls

  • Choose when to submit a Screen Ask request from the extension.
  • Export data from Account.
  • Delete data from Account with the product deletion flow.

Workspace admin visibility

Light Teams keeps a privacy line between admins and members. Admins can manage seats and billing, while member AI work remains private to each member.

Admins can see

  • Seat count and purchased seats
  • Roster emails and join dates
  • Aggregate active-member count
  • Billing portal access in Stripe

Admins cannot see

  • Individual prompts or responses
  • Personal Screen Ask answers, snippets, or Paths history
  • Per-member AI-tool usage
  • Shared review spaces containing member AI work
