The card requirement keeps the trial honest — only people who intend to use the product seriously sign up, which lets us run full scans on every trial without a separate fraud filter.

If you cancel, your account stays active until the end of the billing period. After that, your identity and scan history are preserved read-only for 30 days so you can download what you need. After 30 days, scan data is purged. Kit downloads stay yours permanently.
